Indirect Evaluation BADI

Hi Friends,

A particular wage type from 14 is currently getting indirectly evaluated on the base of BASIC wage type for Infotype 0008.......Calculation : - Basic / 30 days * Number of Days input in the 14.....this is happening through indirect evaluation using prznt......where basic/30 days factor has been converted in the percentage..........

Now the requirement is the calculation should happen depending upon the monthly calenday days applicable..... i mean basic / calenday days * number of days ( input in 0014 )...

I can get the calculation done through PCR and the output can come in the RT table....but the client wants the calculation happen while doing the input and stored in the Infotype

I was suggesting to Create Z Indirect Valuation Module.....and use the Business Add - in (HR_INDVAL)...for getting this done.......

Can this requirement be achieved in any other manner..... ?

Would request your valued inputs and suggestions..

Regards

As Suggested above would go for a BADI

to get the indirect evaluated wage type

Hi,

You can define name of program in the return value of feature 40ECS for that WT. And then write the logic in that program to arrive at the desired value. You can use this using INVAL B. In table T539J store your WT and put the percent as 100% of Basic.

This way you will get the 100% Basic amount in the program where you can modify the value based on no of calendar days in the month and number field of that WT.

Hi VK,

Thanks for your valued input.....but again we have to go for a Z program.....

Is there any other way around to achieve the solution with standards settings and options available....

Hi,

In that case you will need to maintain the percent in T539J for each months e.g.

01.04.2008 to 30.04.2008 - 333.33

01.05.2008 to 31.05.2008 - 322.58

Likewise you will have to maintain the percent factor for each month as many years you want to based on the number of days in the month.

It a tedious work initially but you can maintain it for 5 years initially and then do the same every five years.
