Please tell me what is the use of Service type GRPO

Hi Abhishek,

when you are paying for services, like hiring services as consulting for example or when you want to pay rent for a site, we can use the service type GRPO so that the payment can be done G/l wise. Once we select this, we can update the particular G/L account and add the grpo, also, FYI, the validation of tax does not take place at GRPO unless the item that you have slected is an exciseable item.

hi,

Normally service type is for one time consulation charges/expenses.

In case of GRPO with service type wont' have any JE impact,g/l account get

debited on creation of ap invoice,

service type GRPO is liable only for local taxes like vat etc.,

Service type GRPO serves purpose here for recording transaction.
