Running CJB1 & CJ8G generates no result

Hi Gurus

I ran the following process today

Input Time: CAT2

Approve Time: CATS_APPR_LITE

Send Confirmed Time to cProjects SE38 - (DPR_CATS_CPR_TRANSF)

Transfer Timesheet Data to Controlling CAT7

Generate Settlement Rules CJB1

Execute Settlement Run CJ8G

Now when I add more time in CAT2 and repeat the process CJB1 & CJ8G do not appear to pick up any transaction for processing.

Is there a step that I am missing? I think there may be a batch job running in the background which I cannot locate, or possibly another user running a job.

Any guidance will be well rewarded.

My mistake, I was usng the wrong Settlement Variant.

Hi Panduranga,

The CJB1 generate the settlement rules for WBS and

CJ8G do the settlement using genearted settlment rules + the costs of the WBS.

Therefore a second run of CJB1 does not help at all, because the settlment rules are exiting. Actually the program should take the increased costs and settle it.

You can check with PS reporting or the help transaction 'rkacshow ' using the involved WBS, if the costs get increased or not, after more hours are inputed in maitained.
