SAP based CR report won't show data in Infoview logging in with SAP account

Hi there,

I've a pretty specific problem.

We've created a CR2008 report based on an SAP connection.

The report works fine in CR2008 and in Infoview (as long as I log into Infoview with a "normal" Infoview user). I can enter parameters and have to log on to the SAP system...

No we've imported the roles from SAP and the attached users. I'm able to log in to the Infoview with my SAP user...

The problem now is that when I start the report there is just a white page and nothing happens. Probably it has something to do with the roles or the rights...

Has someone any idea how I can fix that?

Thank you very much in advance

With kind regards

Sebastian

Hi Sebastian,

- has the report being published from SAP BI to BusinessObjects Enterprise ?

- is the report accessing data from the SAP system that you leveraged in the SAP Authentication ?

- can you run and view other Crystal Reports (like sample reports) with your SAP credentials ?

thanks

Hi Ingo,

thanks in advance

to 1.) no the report gets its data directly from the SAP ERP. We published it trough CR.

to 2.) Yes it does

to 3.) Yes thats working fine

Even if i log in to XI with a "normal" XI user like Admin the rport is working

With kind regards

Hi,

did you try the difference viewer for CR (you can change that in the preferences in InfoView) just to exclude some settings in the browser blocking items

Hi Ingo,

i tried this several times. Now i changed it again back to the java viewer and now it works

Probably there have been some problems with the java RE.

Thank you very much

With kind regards

Hi,

the point that you can view the report without being asked for credentials with the adminsitrator account also tells me that the user / pwd credentials are stored in the object in the CMC and that the report is not using SSO from the SAP Authentication.
