regarding dropdownkey list..

hi all,

i have a dropdownkey list in which i have the material number and an extra valueset 'Create New'.

the requirement is to auto generate a material number when i click on create new in the dropdownlist.

can anyone tell me whether it is possible or not..? coz im getting an error as follows..

The value selectedKey = "CREATE NEW" in DropDownByKey "MATNR" does not exist in the value list and is not initial either

How are you building the valueset for the DDLBByKey? This added value should be no different than any other and this should be possible if you popuplate the CREATE_NEW key into the valueset as well.
