operation confirmation

Hi,

Suppose my production order is for 1 quantity.There is only one operation to confirm. It takes 2 days for the production to get over.

At the end of first day since it is not produced 1 quantity , the operator cannot be given as production yield as'1'.its only after second day the production can be marked as yield against the same operator and time taken as 16 hours( 2 days=8hrs working*2).

Please let me know how to fill in the co11n screen after the end of first day?

Do Partial Confirmation (Select from Drop down) without yield confirmation.Confirm only Activities , Time and Date.

I have to develop a report: operator efficiency report. If I do not give any yield in first time and only activities time and date, will this data be enough for me to develop that report??

Hi Yasir,

It doesn't mean that it was a inefficiency of Operator just because of Shift change during the operation was in processed.

You can measure it by using Activity timings also.

For example shift duration is of 8 Hours and confirmed activity is 7 Hours than using that Confirmed Activity value you can also find out Operators Efficiency.

Yasir First of all i think Dhaval has said correct thing, and i also preffer it but if u still want to allow Decimal for EA then plz go to Tcode CUNI then unit of measurement here u get entry of EA .

Double click on it & put a no in decimal places like 2.

But it also increase unconsistency when u check stock then it will show qty of pieces in decimal, to over come it , make a new unit like pc or pec 7 make decimal allow on it, keep base unit EA & Put unit of prd PC in work scheduling view make all activity base unit in routing in PC & give conversion 1ea = 1pc .

To develop an operator efficicency report, I can get planned timings and actual timings from different tables. But do I need to capture yield data also to prepare my report?

Hi

On end of first day, post only activities (labor hrs) and put yeild as zero, on second day you put quantity as 1 and also the labor hours.

You can see the confirmations in CO14, after 2 days.

Can you do a patial confirmation on the end of first day as 0.5. Please check your settings if it allows decimals you can do it and the next day when it is completed you can post co11n for another 0.5.

Can you please tell me where is the setting to allow decimal in yield field in CO11N screen??

I require this because I have to develop a operator efficiency report. For that I require operator wise how much quantity he has produced in his given planned time frame.
