Hello to everybody,
my need is to adjust MRP calculation based on planning calendar, used in material master. The request is to consider the planning calendar as a sort of vendor calendar.
We want to interact in the MRP procedure as below descripted, for purchase requisition:
1. The standard MRP procedure calculates the PR delivery date and release date based on planned delivery time plus GR processing time.
2. If the material planning calendar includes not working days between release and delivery date, we should add the sum of not working days to planned delivery time.
3. Then the MRP should be executed again to refresh the PR scheduling.
Luca, Did you ever solve this? I have a similar requirement, although ideally I'd want deliverydate calculation to consider a blend of factory calendar (eg. account for non-working day) and planning calendar

Hello
The planning calendar is generally used to determine deliveries in specific days of the week (or any period), but I don't think you can achieve what you want using a planning calendar. The planned delivery time is always calculated in calendar days, not in working days, and the planning calendar won't influence this calculation.

Caetano

Hello Caetano,
I understand your answer but i'd like to find a workoround to manage a sort of vendor calendar.
My customer actually uses planning calendar to set not working days referred to a sort of generic vendor. The problem is that when MRP runs it dosn't recalculate the days inside the scheduling, and my solution is to use an exit / BadI to simulate it.
