MFBF Doc Neutral Reversal and Batch Determination

Hello,

For some of our products we use batch determination, for example product one consumed 3 materials, when we use MFBF and post with correction mvt 261, a batch is brought into our system, the batch is constant, always the same batch BUT if we do MFBF and choose doc neutral reversal to carry out a mvt 262 NO batch is brought into the system, this requires a manual entry.

Does anyone no if batch determination can work with doc neutral reversal and if so can point me in the direction of what is missing.

Hi,

No batch determination won't work when you perform doc neutral reversal and from process point of view it shouldn't. Reason being the batch used to confirm the backflush should be added carefully when we perform manual reversal to ensure batch is properly updated.

If you reverse material document respect then batch will be updated wrt to mat doc.
