I have a report that I need to change that will involve a custom sql on one of the data providers. There original report works fine but if change the query to 'Use custom query script' and immediately select Validate it will fail with 'The date type of a column in the query is not valid. (IES 10811). How can it fail on a working query? I can't get around this error to add my changes. And it would help so much if the error would tell you with column it was having a problem with. I am using v4.2 sp 3 patch 6. HTML and Applet modes give the same error. When I look at the many columns in the sql, none are defined incorrectly. Is it possible there is just a bug in the Query Script viewer in the Query Panel?
