Parameter ID MSV - Version for Error Processing

Hi MM Guys:

I created a new version basis on (00 ME 161 W )

as below:

Version Appl a No Category

01 ME 161 E

and used tcode su3 to maintain MSV = 01. After this I logged on with the User ID and testing the ME22N transaction. But I am still getting the warning messages and not errr messages.

Where am I missing? Can someone guide me?

In some cases, new values or new ID parameters have to be activated for a user, by a logout / login in the SAP environement.

Hi,

Pl check what is the message no your getting whether it is populating the message no which defined by you or the old one with message.

Take the help of the ABAPer to set this message.

Try ME21N - Create new PO and check.

I was created a new PO, But the message still is W.
