MRP proposing a very old date as reschedule date

I have seen an situation in system that MRP is proposing very old date as reschedule date. Recently i have extended the Planning calendar to Dec 2021 and start date of planning calendar is remain unchanged as 2nd Jan 2012.

After the above change, MRP is proposing rescheduling date as 2nd Jan 2012. Screenshots are attached, Can you please let me know what could be the possible reason and how can we avoid that ?

Note: I am seeing this in MD06. Not seeing this issue in MD04.

Hi,

The reason might be , "Start date in the past" setting available in the transaction - OPPR and in-case for planned order, check OPU5.
