Workaround for Cross tab with more than 256 column to Excel

Hi, I have a cross tab sales report something like below

Items | Store1| Store2 | StoreN ...

item1 | amt1 | amt2 | amount N ...

item2

item3

itemN

and the number of columns is greater than 256 columns which will hit Excel's column limit.

When i try to export the crosstab report, only the 1st 256 column are exported, the rest

are cut off.

Is there anyway, to export the cross tab into 2 excel worksheet? or is there other workaround method?

Please help. Thanks!

Older version of Excel has a limit of 256 columns.
