about customizing request

what is difference between worbench request an customizing request? can give me sdetails of both?

Hello,

Work bench requests are created when an ABAP program is amended. Customisint requests are made when the configuration changes has done by a functional consultant.

Dear Friend,

In ABAP programming there involves various bussiness objects and funcationalities.

So when the ABAPERS create the various bussiness object changes it goes into workbench request

Tcode SE80 ABAP workbench.

In case of a functional consultant doing changes it goes into Customization request which is changes in Just the table entries.

You can see the changes if you see Se01 and click on you request you will find various table netires being attached to it.

Customizing requests in IMG stores changes made by every individual in configuration for e.g. enterprise structures etc. It records date when this change was made. It can be used as a tool to troubleshoot the changes & also to put accountability on configuration makers.

Workbench request is same but it it tracks changes in ABAP objects.

workbench requests are related to ABAP workbench objects means any changes in ABAP objects would lead to this request.

While customizing request is created during configuration changes done in SPRO.
