I am getting a 403 error trying to open the editor or catalog.

Hi Mark, I suppose you refer to the SAP HANA Web-based Development Workbench. Make sure you have assigned all necessary roles to your user like documentation describes https://help.hana.ondemand.com/help/frameset.htm?d7c4ca5dac4f4dbbb47901eebe9ea0d1.html
