Hi
For some reason are we going to stop the V3 update (collective job) for all LIS extractors (application areas) for 4-5 days in order not to push data into the delta queues.
The R/3 system will be used as usual during these days where which means that the amount of data in the extraction queue will increse significant. Could this cause any problems? Can the extraction queue contain an "unlimited" amout of data?
Thanks and kind regards,
Torben
Hi,
As the previous posts suggest it may not be an issue with the maximum size of extraction queue, but try to figure out if it creates a system overhead.
Generally in a production system we dont come across much scenarios where the system admin (R/3) will let this go easily.
Consult R/3 system admin on this.
It may not advicable to have a queue with lakhs of records increasing considerably during a short period of time.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
JituK

Hi,
See if this is of any help.

OSS notes 328181 and 762951 as a prerequisites.
Failure to follow the instructions in those notes may probably result in data loss.

The extraction queue can contain unlimited data and should not be any problem.

Hi
There is no limitation as of my knowledge on the extraction queue and delta queue..
