Price changing from sales quote to sales order

Good day SAP experts

• I have a scenario where a customer has special pricing loaded on the business partner.
• A sales quote was raised.
• The price loaded from the special price onto the sales quote (automatically).
• When the user used to "Copy To" and copied to sales order the price changed on the sales order
• The price on the sales order was of another item loaded on the same business partner.
• The user doesn't have access to change the price. I have replicated and checked access.
• The error seems to have happened in the internal process when the user select the "Copy To" sales order button.
• See print screens below of how the price changed from quote to sales order.
• See special pricing print screen aswell of the price it changed to
• Note the prices on the sales quote and sales orders are both bom items. Probably some link here.

Please advise how this happened and how it can be resolved for future.
