Unable to launch Powerbuilde 12.6 after regenerating the license file.

We have Powerbuilder 12.6 installation with 4 licenses which is server based. Recently we had to regenerate the license file and load it on our server. After this was done, whenever I try to launch Powerbuilder 12.6, I am getting the error "Sybase SySAM license was not validated, You will be given a chance to change the SySAM license". After this I am allowed to specify the license server information and port number in the next screen and save. And I get a message "The development environment will not shut down. The license you selected will be used when you next run"

But after this step the Powerbuilder abruptly closes. If I try to reopen Powerbuilder I continue to get the same Sybase SySAM license error mentioned above. Can you please help. This is very urgent as we are in a critical stage of a project.
