Quota Arrangement

Hi,

I have a scenario.

Material Code --xx

Available Plant Stock --nil

Safety Stock - 10000 Nos

Quota split Qty - 1000

Quota Vendor A - 75%

Quota Vendor B - 25%

Quota valid from 01.08.2007 to 31.12.9999,

No other data maintained.

During MRP, System makes PR for vendor A Qty - 10000 Nos.

Why system is not splitting the quantity to Vendor B. In material master no min, max, reorder, maximum stock is maintained.

Tell me, what I have to do.

what is your minimum quota split quantity and requrement quantity

requirement must be> mini. split quanity

and if afte split ing the intila requirement it comes below mini. split quantity then system switch overs to the allocated quota

example

mini. split quantity = 800 pc

requirement = 1000 pc

quota vendor A 90%

vnedor b 10%

system issue a po of 900 pc to vendor a and then switch over to the allocated quota and whicver is having minmum rating according to the quota formula .system issue a po of 100 pc to that vendor

MRP NEVER CREATES A PO (above examples is for understanding purpose only)

Thanks for the reply, the answer suggested by you, is very useful. But the problem was with the lot size. I have checked in SPRO (T-code OMI4), The split quantiy tick was not there in the lot size we are using. As suggested by Mr Reddy.

Since, my problem is solved, I have rewarded full points.

Hi

In addition to the settings you made the following setting is requd.

Lot size split is requirted.

For this in lot size key config. there is achek box called split qty ,. you have to chk this.box.

For ex: if your are using EX as lot size key , you copy this key into say ZX & chk this box & use this ZX in your material master.

This is requd.

Also chk your vendor info record once.
