Hi Experts,
Can anybody tell me, that how calculates the system the FIFO prices of the child items in case of disassembly production order? The parent item is ok, it uses the first open layer for releasing from stock, but what about the child items? On what price should these be receipted?
Thanks in advance,
Eszter

Hi Eszter,
For the component it will use the first open layer price. If there is nothing in stock at the time it will use the last known FIFO price.
The difference between the price used in the original Production Order and the price used for disassembly is posted to WIP variance.
Hope it helps.

Funnily enough, the 2007A uses FIFO but the 2004C uses LIFO prices.
