Hi Experts,
I am aware of the concept of automatic creation of PO at the time of goods receipt. I have configured all the settings for that and it is working properly.
But my requirement is to create a consignment PO when goods receipt is performed and stock is added in vendor consignment.
I am getting below error when I am trying to auto PO for 101 K.
"Movement type 101 K is not planned"
Is it possible to create consignment PO when GR is posted?

Pallavi Kinra
Hi,
In customizing setting Please set your default PO as Consignment PO.
MM --> Purchasing --> Define Default Values for Document Types
Thanks,
Rahul

Hi,
Define default Values for Document types: this affects GR to go for PO document type 🙂
my configuration are:
1. create new po type.
2. assign this po type with item category "k" only.
3. assign MB01 to this new PO type in "Define default Values for Document types"(this MB01 is used in GR to create PO).
4. Maintain a info record of consignment.
* after configuration steps i tried to create automatic consignment PO during GR.
result is:
Message no. ME020
this "CO" type is new PO type.
any idea on this?
Best Regards,
This error has been plenty times discussed and answered in the community, kindly search.
Also it would be good to get some light into this chaos here. Are you the author of this question and you use now a different user ID as initially? Or are you trying to answer the initial question? Or are you only a guest to this discussion who is testing the proposals made so far?
Hi,
Please use movement type 101 in MIGO and give 101+K in Movement type field in where tab at Item level.
Thanks

did you test or is this just a thought?
The movement type on top right is just the default movement type for the combination or Action and Reference, which itself defaults to the where tab and can always be overwritten there. But the error message is only related to the movement in the where tab.
