In VF03 problem with generating service object PDF attachment when output is issued through e-mail.

In VF03 when we issue output(Print- NACHA= '1' ), automatically a PDF attachment will be created in service object. But when we issue output(Email - NACHA= '5' ) the attachments link itself is grayed out as shown in the attachment.

Please help if anyone knows how to fix this..

Thanks In Advance,

There are a few different ways of archiving invoice outputs. Often it is done using SAP ArchiveLink.

You indicate that you are successfully archiving the output from an Output Type with Transmission Medium = 1 (Print output). Check the Storage Mode in VV33 for the Output Type that is working correctly. If the Storage Mode is set to 2 (Archive only) or 3 (Print and archive), that would indicate that SAP ArchiveLink is probably being used and is configured for Object Type VBRK.

In that case, it would be a simple matter to change the Storage Move in VV32 for the Output Type with Transmission Medium = 5 (External send).

I don't think there is anything to "fix" as standard doesn't work this way AFAIK. I vaguely recall someone asked a very similar question before (a while ago) and it turned out either some custom ABAP or some add-on was doing the attachment. My memory is a bit fuzzy though. Search in Google.

Not sure from where you have taken that screen shot. It seems that your question requires additional information. Please make sure that your question outlines the steps you took to find information and create the question again. This way members will know that you searched and were unable to find what you needed.

You may also want to include screenshots of what you're seeing, to help members further understand the issue. And please provide some additional details, as the question is fairly short.
