Do we really need to refresh our browser just so we see updated information?

Hi experts

In C4C, for example with generic notifications, when the notification gets triggered, it doesn't immediately show the notification. It'll only show when we refresh our screens.

One of our clients escalated this to us. They mentioned they shouldn't have to always refresh their screens to get the latest info, in this case, notifications.

Is there any way we can make this better on the functional side? Or is this something we need to fix with our networks?

Thanks

As of my understanding , notifications are processed by a background job which runs in the system in a frequency of every 2-3 minutes.
So while this job runs , it will try to capture if there is some notification It has to display and then will show up , because of which you will see a delay .

That's the very reason , there is also a manual refresh button , for user to check , if he knows that there is already a notification that can be expected (for Approvals etc.)

And also it is very important to understand the business scenario that notifications to notify the users and it is not a very common activity that requires monitoring

Hope this gives you a fair idea of the systems behavior.
