No Response for BEx Analyzer Toolbar (Urgent)


Hi All, This is urgent as users are getting affected. We are in upgrade from 3.5 to 7.0. All our users are on Excel 2000. Since new Analyzer cannot be used with Excel 2000, we planned to use the old analyzer (3.x). After GUI 710 is installed, when we use RRMX it opens the new Analyzer with no BEx toolbar. We were told to change the global settings to ‘Launch legacy version from RRMX’. But when we try to open the New Analyzer the BEx toolbar is inactive, there is no response when you click the buttons/icons. Also the tooltips show in german.Due to that we cannot change the global settings to check the ‘Launch legacy version from RRMX’.

Any help as to why this is happening. Why did SAP made this setting when you can't change it?
