Saving data from an embedded component

I am trying to follow the thread

Can somebody please help me to resolve the same as my Embedded component consisting custom BO fields and an alternative key for standard BO is not getting saved.

I have attached my embedded component to the XBO.

It is very useful to add EC using the Custom BO.
