Hi,

I have 3 level release strategy for PR release. The problem is " user having role of 1st level" is able to release the PR for all three levels. I don't see any problem with Release codes. Please help...

Thanks & Regards,

Rohit

Hi

Pl. check the user roles and authorisation profile.

Also release through collective release where it is released based on individual codes.

Hi,

Please note that I have not configured any work flow for release strategy; is it necessary? Where I can check the users assinged to Release Codes?

Thanks & Regards,

Hi rohit,

Workflow is not neccessary for release to work, i think you can check authorization in SU01, it is better to ask your basis person for this.

Hi Rohit,

This is not a problem with release strategy configuration. The user having role of first level is actually authorised to release for all the all the three release codes. But that is wrong,he should be authorised to release only for one release code(1st level). Please collect the user ID of the first level release code and consult your BASIS consultant to look into the authorisations for this release code.

I hope this helps.Award points if helpful.

Thanks,

Hi

You need to check for authorization for release codes to users.

I think all three codes have been given authorization to single user.
