Authorization in BI 7.0

Hi,

If I want to design authorization for user using the bw 3.5 concept is there any setting that I have to do.

Because i had done all the things in bi 7.0 exactly same as i did in bw 3.5.

Still the authorizations are not checked while executing the query.

Hi Jain,

we strongly recommend to use the new Analysis Authorizations in SAP NetWeaver 7.0. The old Reporting Authorizations will not be further developed (enhanced).

Please make yourself familar with the new concept by studying the online documentation and the FAQ on the SAP Service Marketplace

Hi Pratighya,

Reporting Authorizations are still the same

S_RS_COMP and S_RS_COMP1 are the auth objects which controls the reporting parameters.You may wish to check the links below ,it gives you the exact details with examples you need.
