BI Lauchpad log out problem

hello

i'm facing an issue with BI Launchpad not logging out correctly (BI4.1 SP6)

the user connects to an entreprise portal and there's a link to open BI launchpad. When he logs out using the dedicated button, the message "cleaning in progress..." appears as usual and he gets deconnected

but then if he connects to the enterprise portal with another user and click on the launchpad link, the bilaunchpad opens up with the previous user

I noticed if we clean up the browser cookie before the test, it solves the problem.

any idea why logging out doesn't properly "kill" the cookie ?

i notice this happens on a platform on which we installed BO on 2 tomcat servers

we did not face the problem on our other Platform with only one server

SAP note 2300137 says this was an issue on your version fixed in patch 9

Hi

still facing the problem, some help appreciated

i have notice the session of the first user doesn't disappear in CMC even after the user hits the log out button in Launchpad

and CMC doesn't show the connection with the second user

We intend to upgrade to 4.2 next year

Could you explain more what's in sp9 that will solve the problem

The issue is a product defect and requires a patch to resolve. It wasn't something I was involved with so I can't explain the fix.
