alternate units of measure

hi Friends,

Can any one tell me how can i maintain or use different units of measure at operation level.

For ex:

op 10 unit will in lb

op 20 unit will be in kg

op 30 unit will be in PC....

like wise.How to do the settings and where?

Hi,

Go MM02 ---> Additioanl unit ---> maintain additinal UOM

like 1000kg=1 ton

u have to give conversion factor for each and mainatin as per ur requirement.

operaion is for perfomance done by work center, it can be HR, KW, PC which you have given in the workcenter.

Hi Ramesh

In the operation detail screen u can maintain the operation unit . U have to give the conversion factor to the header unit ( which should be the base unit of the material to which the routing is attached) in the same screen.

Hi Ramesh,

To maintain the alternative unit of measure at operation level,

1. Goto routing operation overview

2. Select the operation you want to maintain alternative unit of measure

3. Goto details operation, operation detail screen will appear

4. Under the standard value section you can find the unit of measure conversion.

5. there you can maintain the conversion details.

Hi,

Do u want different UOM for components??

For component in material master --> additional data u can enter number of alternative UOM, Here give the relation between base UOM.

In BOM u can enter which is required.

In different operations u can assign as per required qty.
