request of client import is RED

Hi

Iam doing client transport from PRO to QAS.By scc8 T-CODE i have succesfully completed client export and datafiles and controlfiles even got stored at operating system level.

But when i go to STMS->import queue of DEV system the status of change request in the import queue is RED and it says "The request will not be transported".How can this problem be solved ?

its urgent any help would be valuable.

Hi Kaleem,

If I understood you correctly, it's not an error. I guess you had DEV system as Target when you ran your client export via SCC8.

Just delete the request from the DEV Import queue and then re-attach it to the Import queue of QAS and import via STMS in the correct system/client.

Don't forget to run SCC7 (post process after client import) when import is suvccessfully performed.

Thanks for your reply basu,the problem continued even after reattaching that,i just continued with postprocessing in scc7 after which the status was shown as "transporting and then finally it was green"
