WM (Capacity check Based on Volume)

Hi,

For doing the Put-away at the time of creating the TO, is it possible to check the bin capacity in terms of volume, where we are using Pallet strategy for Put-away and SUT is active, If yes can someone please guide me with process & customisation steps.

Hi Pankaj,

Thanks for the help provided by you, but the examples being provided by you is not similar to my case.

In my scenario, I am maintaining the bin capacity in terms of CCM (Unit of Volume) and the data I have maintained is as follows

In article master data - Basic View, I am maintaining Gross weight, Net weight, Length, Width, Bredth (Unit of measurement is CM), Unit of Volume as CCM.

In WM view in Logistics DC in WM control data I am maintaining WM Unit as CCM, I have maintained the LE qty, UOM & SUT also, and the moment I try to put capacity usage, while doing the put-away system gives the error of capacity check has increased. in the bin and it does not searche for other bin also.

At the time of bin creation also I have maintained the bin capacity in terms of Volume only.

And at storage type level for capacity check, I am using option 4 "Usage check based on article" and using the pallet strategy for put-away, where bins has been divided in 10 sections.

Please advice how to go about it, and if you have any contact no. I will call u up.
