cost estimate

dear experts,

i have run a product cost estimate for finished product in CK11n and found ok.my question is when i checked the cost split up of material.its BOM material is calculating some price according the activity hrs i have specified in master receipe.(ie if i have specified about 1 hr for the setup activity its taking only 0.5 hrs) is there any formula related and kindly inform where we specify.

Check into the Resource capacity under the standard value capacity for the 'Number of indidual capacity'. It may be two.

You may also want to display the forumula in the costing tab of the resource. This appear as follows:

Labor Hours

Operation quantity

/

Base qty.

/

<b>Operation splits</b> It is this division by operation split that controls the 1 hr to be changed to 0.5 hr.

Consult your PP expert/process owner to map the formula to the realtime setup so that the costing comes out correct.

hi,

Please check the relevancy to costing indicator which you have selected in the master recipe. You may have selected 50%

assign points if useful.

can u give me an example.?

r u saying that if u have defined 1 hour as the setup time, system is taking the cost as 0.5? if that is the case check the activity price for the activity type setup time and the Cost centre
