can anyone explain what is proof of delivery ???? in what senarios it is used ????? its very urgent

rajesh
There are many scenarios in which POD can be used.
1. High Value Items.
2. Perishable Items.
3. Customer requirements etc.
POD is nothing but an acknowledgment from the customer that he has received the goods.

HI
PROOF OF DELIVERY IS NOTHING BUT ACCEPTANCE FROM THE CUSTOMER WHOM WE HAD DELIVERED THE GOODS.
IT IS AN ACCEPTANCE FROM THE CUSTOMER THAT HE HAD RECEIVED THE GOODS.

hi,
proof of delivery is the concept by which business can map acknowledgement
in normal business process business delivery goods to the customer and customer in term sends ack for the goods that he received, then only business raises invoice
this setting is avaiable in customer master data sales area data shipping data tab
where we can maintain the proof of delivery time frame
and the transaction code to release the document is vlpodq
