Dear Friends,
I understand that SKF is used as a ratio in allocation.
I need more detail understanding.
I also know that there is another means to do allocation using ratios.
SKF --- ratios.
Ratio - also ratio.
What is the difference?
1st, if you can, please explain SKF concept using a simple example.
2ndly, do the same to differentiate use of ratio vs SKFs.
Thanks.

Hi,
- refer
http://www.lasalle.edu/~borkowsk/Controlling.Notes.SAPex4.htm
scroll down and you will find a good explanation of AT & SKF.
- simple example is to allocate staff welfare exp of a department, you can use a SKF of no of employees to distribute it
or you can use SKF to record/count events like no x rays performed etc.,
Rgds.
