SAP OCI catalog not being returned to SAP ECC screen

We have configured new OCI catalog in ECC 6.0 under Plant Maintenance and Customer service. All the configurations are already in place for the catalog. We are able to login to the website of the vendor and add materials to the basket. While we check out, the system shows a popup " Webpage is not available" instead of returning to the SAP screen. Vendor has action SAPEVENT:POST for the submit button in his source code of the website.

Does the vendor need to do some other configurations for returning to SAP screen? Or am I missing some configuration from SAP end?

Kindly provide more information :

  • Do you have OCI Catalogs configured within MM also? If so, do you have the same behaviour there?
  • Is the Vendor's WebShop called in a Webbrowser or SAP-GUI? Do you use a WebUI / WebDynpro in SAP Punchout?
  • ...

Please check on these SAP-KBA's for anything that (could) match(es) :

  • SAP-KBA 2066319 : link
  • SAP-KBA 2096024 : link
  • SAP-KBA 2439375 : link
  • SAP-KBA 2212416 : link
  • SAP-KBA 735692 : link

A lot of KBA's can be found on OCI and EAM (PM/CS), referencing the choice of Browser (if any), the SAP-mode (WDynpro / GUI for HTML, ...). Some things like DialogBoxes called from SAP can also 'break' the Web-connection ...

If the problem persists, contact the Vendor and / or SAP Support ...

Kind regards
