Maintaining CRM Territory Hierarchy Retrospectively

Hi,

When I try to maintain the CRM Territory hierarchy retrospectively (i.e. assign a Territory with a valid-from date less than today's date), I get error message CMR_TERRMAN113).

Question 1: What is the business logic behind this error message?

Question 2: How can I maintain Territory assignment validity dates in the past?

Hi,

I am not very sure on the Question 1. But on Q2, validity for a territory can not have the past date i.e., less than today's date.
