How to re execute completed PR workflow

Hello All,

Purchase Req. Workflow after approval as a next step of PR release in back group when system is trying to update PR in EBAN table it got failed as that point of time someone already opened PR in change/Edit mode due to which system couldn't able to update status in ME53N release status and return error "Purchase requisition XXXXXXX blocked". and completed workflow.

Now Workflow is completed and ME53N status in release startegy is not update , could you please suggest me the solution for this

Have the approver go to ME54N and manually release the item. Random occurrences like this would best be handled with one off solutions. If this is an item that continues to have the issue and you can identify a trend that is causing the defect, then you would go to the board of troubleshooting to resolve your issue.

From my experience "KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid" works best.

You can error out the workflow based on the return message and then later restart the error workflows from SWPR.

Hi AJ,

as Mike said run it from ME54n, else open the PR in ME52n and if your GOS is active, go to Workflow>Workflow Overview>Restart WF

For a one-off issue like yours,just release it directly using ME54N. No need to mess around with workflows if the approval has already been logged.

can you check status in status tab or valuation tab is created or already GR?

or another way is update in table.
