I am using standalone CRM 5.0 SP4.
I created attributes and attribute set via
SAP easy access menu → Marketing → Segmentation→ Marketing Attributes → double click on Maintain Attributes → click on Create Attribute button → follow the navigation path to create the attribute set similar to attribute.
Now I open my BP and go to the "marketing attributes" tab. Select my "attribute set" then click "Assign Attribute Set." I can see my attribute set Description in the Attribute Set table. However, I don't see any attributes in the "Attributes" window below.
When I save this, I got that message "No changes were made" and the attribute set disappeared.
If I double click on the "attribute set", I got the warning message saying
"No attributes created; [Attribute set name] deleted for assignment table."
Why am I not able to assign attributes to BP? Pls advise.

Eric,
After creating the <b>Attribute Set</b> have you assigned the <b>newly created attributes</b> to it. The attribute set is nothing but classification of attributes and you need to assign atrributes to each.

Hi Eric ,
Please check the in the<b> attribute set,</b> you have <b>done the check to person & organisation</b> field as this is the indiactor for maitaining the attributes to respected BP.
Then, you can assign the attributes set to BP in BP master.Select the Attribute set and click on assign attribute set and select the suitable attribute value for the BP.

Hi Eric,
You can assign the attributes to BP in two ways :
1. In BP Master, tcode BP , in the marketing tab, select the attribute set from drop down and click on the "Assign attribute set " icon . Specify the attribute value for the BP.
2.In Tcode CRMD_PROF_BP, Create assignment enter the respective BP aand attribute set , select the attibute value.
Try any one of the above method, pls let me know still u r facing issue on assignment
