Hi,
I want to find one SAP field in one of the BW datasources .
But I dont know the data source name . Is there any way to
find whether we are fetching that field in BW from R/3
Thanks,
Jeetu
table ROOSFIELD in the source system..
it maintains data for DataSource Fields.
goto contents..enter field name in field FIELD.
execute to view records...
field OLTPSOURCE in the resultant fields..gives the names of the source system datasource that use that field..
cheers,
Vishvesh

Hi,
Just go the table RSTSFIELD and in the field FIELDNM "field" give your R/3 field name what ever you want to know it will give you the infosource in which it is mapped and also the infoobject name to which it is mapped.
Juts go the infosource and chek which data source it is mapped.
It will work definately
Thanks

Hi Jeetu,
Try to narrow down your search to a module and refer business content documentation available at help.sap.com . This documentation refers to sap r/3 field and corresponding mapping to BW info object.
Hope that helps.
