Equipment transfer from business area to business area

Hello,

I have about 6500 items in the equipment list. I am transferring all items from one Business Area to another Business Area.

We did the transfer according to the Equipment Mass Change. Using IE05 and EQMASSCHANGE.

1.Changes made in the data: Plant Group, Business Area, Cost center. All other data remain unchanged.

2.Upload in SAP

3.Check with EQMASSCHANGE

4.No problems with changed data(green light)

5.Equipment changes completed.

I haven’t encounter any problems, but when check in IH08 the data of the equipment is unchanged.

My question is why the data didn’t change.

I have SD10 and SD11.

When I checked the equipment records I filled in the date before the transfer so the equipment was still in the same Business Area. After changing the date the equipment is shown with the right data.

What do you mean by "EQMASSCHANGE"??
