Change of Business Partner number range

Hi,

We want to replicate HR master data to CRM with the same number range; however that range has been used by organization as business partner.

Is there a way to correct organization business partner's number range and re assign it to employee BP to download HR masters from R/3.

Hi KC,

Not at all advised. It messes up everything especially if the organizational units are used in the system. Assign a new number range to the future org units. Map the existing org unit number range to the BP number range with a new counter value.

Hi Krishna,

We have kept the number range intact leading with EM.

There is a note I believe to achieve this.
