Hi friends,
I have defined a plant 1000 in the R/3 sandbox,( SPRO->Logistics genral->Define,copy,delete,check plant), while trying to assign sales Org and distribution channel i can't find the plant which i have defined. Can any one tell me whats the way to define a plant and then assigining it to sales org and DC.
Regards
Ananth.
Hi Ananth,
In transaction ovx6, check whether ur plant is assigned to sales org 0001. If it is assigned then delete the assignment and reassign it to your plant 1000.
Hope this helps.

Step 1: Define Plant
Step 2: Assign Plant to Company Code.
Step 3: Assign Plant to Combination of Sales Organization & Distribution Channel.
Step 4: Assign Plant to Shipping Point.
Hope this helps you.

After defining the plant, you have to first assign it to a company code(IMG>Enterprise Structure>Assignment>logistic general>Assign Plant to a company code).
After this you will find your plant in the assignment list.
This will solve your problem

Hi Ananth,
Follow the path in defining plant:
Spro--enterprise structurelogistics general--define plant.
For assignment to sales org/dis channel use transaction "OVX6".
Click on your sales org in OVX6 and click on assign tab then you will be able to see your plant which you have define.
Reward points if it helps.

Hi,
Instead of defining plant, copy it from existing plant....
