Please any one can explain the purpose of the field gr message check box in the header part in the delivery invoice tab page while creating purchase order t-code me21n

Hi Satya ,
this is for ensuring that every time there is a GR for this PO , the buyer will get a system generated alert that the GR has been done.

Dear Friend,
I'm working for an organization where purchase dept rise the p.o's and stores dept input good reciept in migo.... then which dept will recieve this alert message and what is the purpose, and how the set up takes place in the system to flow the message for a particular reciepent. How far it is useful.
