Hi
I got a new assignment to do feasibility study for a CRM project. As I am doing it for the first time, can any one help me out in elaborating .
what are the process / steps involved in feasibility,
which methodology is used.
Any docs?? Will be of great help .
Thanks
Nitin
Hi Nitin,
Before start with any feasibility study, first you need to list all the business requirements that will be implemented using CRM.
Currently your organization is practising some business processes and you need to submit a feasibility report showing which of those existing processes can be mapped to CRM scenarios.
Some business processes can be directly mapped to out-of-box SAP CRM scenarios, some may need additional development and some may not possible.
You also need to provide a GAP document to tabulate your findings.
There is no need to follow a specific document format to tabulate your findings. Instead you may request your organization's IT department for a template which is being used by them for other projects.
Let me know, if you want more information

Hi Nitin,
I think you are betting on some project management calculations.
Costs and time-lines are totally depends on the total solution to be deployed. Do you have SAP ERP deployed in your organization? If not then you need to consider deploying ERP first. The reason is CRM is mostly depends on ERP SD module for all business data.
If you are planning marketing and or non delivery related service scenarios then there is no need for ERP.
I will give an example of CRM e-commerce sales scenario deployment:
Resources : CRM functional consultant, ISA JAVA developer, ABAP/Middleware consultant, BASIS consultant and SD functional consultant. Apart from this you also need MM consultant and FICO consultant with credit card interface knowledge.
Time line will be 6-12 months, if you have already ERP is in place. If ERP is not deployed then the time line will be 1-2 years.
I can't give you the cost per consultant in this forum. Send me an email if you have any further questions
Reward if helps
