Trying to figure out a way to calculate hundreds of unique text strings (think of one cell as 1 unit) within each a column, 1 to many can be found. But too many to uniquely identify manually, is there a way to do this?
You need to create a measure. In it's simplest form, say there is only one column and it has names in it. Create a measure on the column by clicking on the "wheel" next to the Dimension. CHoose "Create Measure". Use that in a chart or cross tab or what ever. THis will give you the number of each individual string.
