Schedule lines with delivery block getting deleted when the line is rejected

We have a scenario where an order line has multiple schedule lines for confirmed for different dates and one of it blocked with a delivery block. Once the remaining schedule lines are delivered, we need to set a reason for rejection at the line level to bring the line status to complete. But while rejecting the line, we see the schedule line with the delivery block getting deleted. Would like to know why this is happening and what needs to be done to fix this.

When I apply a rejection on this line, the second schedule line with the delivery block on it gets deleted.

Isn't this just standard behavior? The line rejected, this means nothing more to deliver, so why keep the schedule line? Seems rather logical... Why is this an issue?

This isn't a standard behavior and the schedule lines shouldnt get deleted when rejecting a line. We found out the reason.. there was an interface that was confirming the quantities in incorrect quantity on the required quantity field and that caused the deletion when the order quantity was compared with the required quantity. This issue is resolved now. Thanks all for your effort.
