exchange gain/loss valuation error

I am getting an error in gain and loss exchange account ,the valuation in exchange gain loss should be zero for foreign currency valuation and the gain /loss diff in indian or local currency but its picking an amount for foreign currency valuation also ?please help what do i need to check to get the entry posted correctly ?

prepare automatic currency transactions for postings take kdf key configure like Gl account ××××10 , currency: company code currency: inr , document currency: 10.

Then run fc valution it will take the local currency.

The exchange rate between the transaction currency and the foreign currency when the open item was created v when payment was made is the key.
