When I try to create a new blog post using Chrome, various parts of the wordpress admin console disappear on a consistent basis -- including, annoyingly, the ability to save the post. And while the post tries to autosave, it doesn't appear to be able to succeed (perhaps because I had not yet chosen a primary tag or put in a blog title?). I have no such problems with other wordpress admin sites on Chrome.

Nope, it's clearly not "normal behavior" (Mac Chrome). See video link: http://timoelliott.com/blog/docs/scnblogpost.mp4 I create a new blog, able to add a new title, but then not able to click to start creating the body of the text (middle section of video, various attempted clicks on body, cursor doesn't move to the text area...). Then it says "saving draft" -- but doesn't. I try the distraction-free button, which works, but then towards the end of the video the body text window just vanishes... Safari works fine.
Definitely strange behavior, Timo, as I use Chrome as my primary browser and have never experienced these issues. Please reach out to Community Support so they can walk through the behavior with you 1:1 and make sure there isn't another issue causing the problem.
Best,
Jamie
Hi Timo,
the Publish box is below the User Tags box, and contains the Publish button. It is strange though that the editor is completely not visible. Maybe some local browser cache issue?
