SAP CPQ Variant Pricing - Why shows the pricing on the quote just the base price of an item?

Dear SAP Community,
As follow up on the question: "Why does Pricing Procedure with Price Mapping not show price on quote?" We are in a integrated szenario with variant pricing.
We are now confronted with the issue that the prices of configural products on the quote after configuration won't be shown accordingly. The system just uses the base price of the product and not the total price of the configuration:

The prices during configuration:

The final price on the quote:

What could be the reason for this and how could I tackle this?
Could this be caused by a wrong order and/or selection of field calculations for variant pricing?

Pricing Conditions for Variant Prices (PVA0 with Pricing Function VARC) were part of the synchronized pricing procedure Y10101 but this condition didn't appear in CPQ as available condition for mapping...

Is it an standard behavior that condition types for variant prices won't appear for the mapping?
Or could this be here the issue? Is this If yes, can we fix this on our site or would that be an case for an incident?

It would be great if you could help us to master this pricing issue, due to the fact that it is a crucial issue for our current project.

Kind regards
Alexander

Hello alexander-maerz,

Sorry for waiting on our reply.

Without reaching your environment we are not able to detect why the issue is present on the quote item because it can be related to the configuration and pricing.

Regarding the price, it's necessary to find the appropriate pricing condition which is calculated as the Base Price summed up with all the variant conditions. You probably mapped the wrong pricing condition which has only Base Price as it is displayed on the Quote. Also, without reaching your environment we are not able to know which pricing condition you need and it needs to be found based on the pricing conditions that CPQ obtains from the Pricing Service(CPS).

When setting pricing procedures in CPQ(clicking on the button Manage Conditions), pricing conditions will be listed for mapping, but not variant conditions.

Please let us know if you need more information.

Kind Regards,
Milovan

Thank you very much milovan.srejic for your very well formulated answer. I was very grateful for your reply.
For our case we mapped the Gross Value on the List Price within the Quote and it worked.
