Not able to log in WebGui via Mobile Transaction Bridge(MTB) & WebGuiConnector not showing

Greeting experts,

I was following this tutorial and get stuck in step 5.

Problem 1: I cannot log in WebGui via MTB whichever user I tried while it is automatically logged in if I directly call the URL "https://<host>:<port>sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui" in other new tab. The Service setting is as follows:

Problem 2: At the WebGui setting -> Tools, the WebGuiConnector does not show up. I've already followed this note, set the parameter itsp/enable_webguiconnector = 1 and assigned the authorization object with S_WEBGUI activity AG to the corresponding roles while at step 9 (adding the parameter &sap-remote-plugin=demo to the WebGUI URL) it only shows "404 Not found".

I would be grateful for any suggestions and help!

Hi chih-ting.wang,

when the login fails, do you get any kind of error message? Does the page seem to refresh or is just nothing happening when you click the login button?

Regarding the second issue, I think the SAP note expects that you already have some URL parameters in place. If not, please use a ? instead of the &.

The URL should look like one of the following examples:

• https://<base>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?sap-remote-plugin=demo

• https://<base>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?<some-other-params>&sap-remote-plugin=demo

If you can then see the demo plugin (see image below) you should be fine.

thank you for your answer. It just happens nothing when I click the login button - neither refresh nor error message.

As to the URL I have tried with "?sap-remote-plugin=demo" but the icon as your image indicates does not show.

How should I handle these problems?
