Show total of 1 KF (scenario 1 versus scenario 2) in IBP Excel Add-In without chart?

We would like to compare the total value of 1 KF = all the values of that KF on the Planning View added together, for the 2 scenarios which are shown in that Planning View.

Is there any easy way to do this in the IBP Excel Add-In, without using the Add-In's built-in chart template https://github.com/SAP-samples/integrated-business-planning-excel-add-in-templates. We find that the chart has a certain impact on performance and wonder if there is a lighter way.

In fact, there is a built-in option in the Excel Add-In to achieve just this:

"To be able to show the totals of the key figure totals, we can take the following action (sum the total on the first attribute in the planning view):

“Edit View” > “Edit Planning View…” > “Attributes” > “Selected Attributes:” > “Product ID” > “Total Before”:"

Hi Vincent,

The asked calculation is not possible in the IBP Planning View. But you may try to replicate the planning view data in the normal excel sheet(the very next sheet) using VBA and do such reporting.

Remember, IBP Data over excel with a bit of VBA is perfect for reporting and dashboards. I will advise you to explore more on this.

Hi Vincent,

As per my understanding, its not possible to write any KF calculation cross scenario/Version.

Thanks

girishjain Thank you. So the only way is using a chart then? Could the VBA of the chart not be modified to only show a total, not a graph?
